Welcome to Shuffle My Team. By using our mobile application or website (located at shufflemyteam.com), you agree to be bound by the following terms.

1. Description of Service

Shuffle My Team is an assistant coach app designed for volunteer youth sports coaches in recreational and community leagues. Key features include:

• One-tap shuffling of players into field positions with bench-equity tracking.
• Roster management with player position preferences and active/inactive status.
• Real-time lineup sync between co-coaches on the same team.
• Support for multiple sports and custom formations.
• Game history and season statistics.

2. User Accounts and Authentication

To use Shuffle My Team, you must sign in using a supported third-party provider (Google or Apple).

• Account Security: You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
• Team Access: Your data syncs in real time across all devices where you are signed in to the same account.
• Authorized Domains: All authentication requests are processed through our secure domain, shufflemyteam.com.

3. User Data and Privacy

Your use of the app is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

• Player Data: You are responsible for ensuring you have appropriate permission to enter player names and photos into the app. Do not enter data about individuals without their knowledge and consent where required.
• Data Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your data, including secure cloud storage and encrypted connections. However, no cloud service can guarantee against all forms of data loss, outage, or service interruption.
• Shared Team Data: All coaches who have joined your team can view and edit team, player, and game data. Only share invite codes with people you trust.

4. Prohibited Conduct

By using Shuffle My Team, you agree not to:

• Use the app to store data about individuals without appropriate consent.
• Attempt to interfere with the app's security features, including Firebase App Check protections.
• Use automated scripts or bots to access or manipulate app data.
• Modify, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

Shuffle My Team is provided "as is." We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted. The shuffle algorithm and bench-equity calculations are provided as coaching aids only — final lineup decisions remain the coach's responsibility.

6. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
